At least the old chairman did not laugh at someone misery. He simply needed it to survive and even acknowledged someone's work with thumb up. Jinx on the other hand way too much enjoys others' suffering, making her far worse. But at least she isn't focused only on herself, because even in her final episode her admiration for the old chairman never weakened.

What would have made her defeat better?
Finding out that the chairman wasn't killed by the joy, just was overwhelmed from being actually HAPPY.
Reconstituting when all hope seems lost, and just stopping Jinx.
"I was miserable for so LONG, I must thank you molly mcgee."
Imagine her idol being fine with all the joy, yeah that would break her.
Having him voiced by Greg Eagles using his Grim Reaper voice would be icing on the cake.
"Ya mon, I am so full of joy and I love it! Let's LIMBO!"

If you think of it, this makes Jinx, at least for me, the (second) cruelest Disney TVA villain of all. I mean think about it: Belos and Bradford were delusional villains who perceived themself as good guys; Drakken and Doofenshmirtz were evil scientists (also eventually left the evil path); while were evil, Toffee and Meteora had their reasons for being the way they were; and Darcy/The Core, Lunaris and Hater tyramns who wanted to conquer worlds. Jinx instead? She wanted to cause misery and suffering to living AND dead people, for PURE FUN, and that makes her far more cruel than the villains I listed.

The only villain that surpasses Jinx on that regard is Bill Cipher (who did the same thing for the same reason, but for more violently and with more cruelty).

I love this song and I love the episode, bit i kinda wish we would have learned a little more about the og chairmen or the cloak. This was probably the last season and I was wish we could have gotten more lore.
