I know this video is years old, but thank you so much for this. I was able to get my ESP KH-2 action finally set to perfection and it has been years since I was 100% happy with my setup. You saved me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The guitar shop tried to jip me yesterday because of the slightly bowed neck. They offered me $75 off of the price of another guitar as a trade in, knowing as well as I did that they were gonna turn around and sell it for $200 or more. I used this video to fix it and took it to a different shop and they let me do the trade in fair and square, same guitar I was after in the beginning. Awesome!

....I realize guitar shops have to make a profit too, but there's a difference between ripping people off and negotiating. At least now I know which guitar shop I'll be going to for anything I'll need.

Hey thanks for these videos (1 & 2). I've been wondering how to self setup my LTD, but it's an MH-350, with a floyd rose.

Now a couple of times I managed to ease the buzz off the E, A, and sometimes G strings, but every time I did, the strings were too high off the neck. and if I try to lower the tremolo, the buzzing comes back with a vengeance.

Any tips?

Todd, What if I have straightened the neck and provided proper relief... a wee bit of buzz by the headstock, but very minimal for the low action I have... the issue is that the strings are very difficult to bend now (This is a new Kamikaze, so I don't have a history with it). What can I do to somehow lessen the string tension? Guessing I might remove one of the 3 springs and rebalance the floating Floyd for starters? Strings are standard .009 - .042

strings must be on While doing truss rod correction, is it right?

It's not easy to cast doubt upon the competence of ESP representative, but are you sure that it is reasonable or even acceptable to turn the truss rod nut through about 360° almost in one go?

Hey @espguitarsusa, does it really work that fast? I thought the neck would have to "relax" overnight to adjust to the new tension...

Does every ESP guitar use a 4mm allen key?

So lets say I have one note that's buzzing and I can't do anything with it, would I use this technique ?

When you turn it counter clockwise it makes the action at the higher frets higher.
