To my understanding, Verizon is supposed to do a CDMA network upgrade that will allow people to use both data & voice at once, at least that's what I heard. I think Engadget said something about this a week or two back.

In another top 5 he complained about the iPhone only be on AT&T and 4g is only in big city's so if u live in that one spot where there is 3G every where but no 4g like I it's fine. I'm still getting it.

@Oweboy1960 high resale value. apple updates all phone and iproduct at the same day, unlike android which its own company decides when and sometimes you might not even get it. 3 i personally like it because it does not feel like a cheap and flimsy phone. sure its not a perfect phone it simply fits my need. some may prefer android i just simply dont like it because there isnt a set time when they release an update. it takes months for them to release.

most people are not gonna want to pay the fee for 4g only your die hard data users and they will be limited plans with caps your normal smart phone user will be fine with the no call and data at the same time we are use to it with android and the iphone 5 wont be a 4g phone they will not do that as we know apple will wait till 4g is more mature not an up and coming service they will do a 4g phone once they can do it with a single chip for malti networks so its safe to buy now

Personally, I don't want the iphone on Verizon. I use a huge amount of data, and I will get some sort of quota even though I have an unlimited plan if that many people join the network. Verizon has a large network, but it is also a weak network
