True industrial music pioneering album. Nurse with Wound before the hour. All industrial, IDM, ambient and electronica musicians that came after owes a lot to this record and to DL. May he rest in peace, we will never have another genius of rhis caliber.

The sounds from this film stay with me more so than the actual scenes do.

Being raised in Philadelphia near the Delaware River and the railroad and the factory district I heard all these kinds of sounds all the time.

22:31 - 25:34 goosebumps. Made the sound by floating a plastic bottle in a bathtub, dropping a microphone into it, and gently moving it about.

This picture is still my 2nd favorite of all time just after 2001: A Space Odyssey (Stanley Kubrick 1968). David Lynch managed to give me chills in an adulthood where I no longer scream in horror films but this...was a total MINDFUCK from the beginning to the end!!!

9:53 - 11:00
11:25 - muffled panning of sound
14:05 - sudden atmosphere change
15:37 - sudden dense chaos
17:00 - struggling, empty, clogged breaths
22:50 knock on the door
29:27 jump scare

My favourite film of all time. I felt just like Henry when I was 17. The audìo tells the story, not the visuals (for me, anyway); so relaxing

Eraserhead OST, The Residents' Eskimo and Fantomas' Delirivm Cordia are the records that scare the crap out of me.

The perfect soundtrack to that first date with a mute, yet willing cousin.

Very cool; one of my favorite WTF films of all-time. Great to now have the full soundtrack in HQ audio to just lay back and be immersed in. Thanks!
