The Keep is a really under appreciated movie. Such a great visual style.

Same here, loved it when it was released back in 1982.
Still love it today.
It is one seriously beautiful gothic horror movie.

When the German military stop getting their daily reoprts from that outpost and send a force out to investigate what has happened, can you imagine the looks on their faces when they see the fused bodies of the soldiers next to or on to the wrecked and twisted vehicles and finding Woermann who was shot, then encountering Kaempffer's body, looking rather intact?
