Great thorough review! Subscriptions knock 15% off the popcorn which helps offset some of the expense for their popcorn. I ordered one after watching your video. Thanks again for your review!

This was a good review. Thank you. I received a Popsmith for Christmas. I am not sure if I am going to keep it. I like popcorn but not at $20 for 5 packages. I would almost be embarrassed to give it to someone without warning them that it is somewhat costly for a snack food. I also am not crazy about adding the salt before it if popped.

it would be interesting to compare to a whirley pop, which has been around for a decades and its much more affordable and does a great job as well.

Great review! I’m curious how it does in the dishwasher, if you’ve been able to test that? I currently have a Whirley pop and I hate cleaning it, it’s not dishwasher safe like the Popsmith is.

Great review but this thing seems very expensive. I have a Wirly Pop that I have been using for over 30 years and I think I’ll stick to using it.

great review - but like I said on your other videos - kill your sound on the footage and just use the voice over sound. The double dialog is super distracting.

Great points about the sample packs - that seems like a no-brainer.

Popcorn does not look yellow evenly. Not sure if it because of the popcorn pot or the popcorn kit (not enough butter oil). The Real Theater Popcorn kit that came with the Whirley Pop is much better. Definitely the popsmith is high quality and easier to clean BUT at current price $170 at Costco is definitely not worth it to me. The ingredients are more important to make good popcorn not the popcorn popper.
