As an OCD sufferer myself I have never seen a movie so accurately describe the TORTURE that OCD sufferers go through every waking second Congratulations to the actress who was brilliant. As someone else has said this is like a documentary --I believe it can be used to educate those that have no idea what a terrible illness OCD is and how it can take away your whole life .

By watching this movie I realized that how difficult is to survive with such a disease. So tragic. I am now able to define this disorder in a much better way..

I thought she was agoraphobic at first. Inner struggle is definitely challenging. This was a difficult movie to watch; but it captures the true essence of how hard it is to live with mental illness. I'm glad someone on the outside was there to help her.

Ocd is so energy consuming. I had to count washing pegs and hang clothes in a specific order. I counted streetnames, memorised every car's number plate, phone numbers and names ect. It's such a dark place to be. Thank God I am so much better today. Only get's a bit out off hand when my stress levels are high

My older sister have been treated for schizophrenia. Seeing this movie make me realize she probably had OCD. In fact, Sarah reminds me so much of her. She sadly could not make it through the illness and died prematurely.

I watched about 30 minutes and I could do no more. I know the panic people have if they try to ignore a compulsion but yet sometimes while performing a task it can become a frenzied duty to get it done right then. Her panic was making me panic. The actress was great. I would think she'd take a shower after not first considering the physical labor put into her morning duties.

I have a couple quirks I may loosen up with. You don't realize it until you see it.

My brother had a mental breakdown and had severe OCD issues for a while. He still struggles with obsessive cleaning but not too bad. I had my own struggles in the past and have manage but as I'm in my 50s I feel worried I might get worse again as I get old. My latest issue is paperwork. I am paralysed to fill out documents. If I worry I can't fill them out perfectly I put it off or just don't do it.

This is especially when you’re alone after the departure of a prolonged companion you loved most or hated to live with. You cannot handle either of the situation. In fact i.e. in real world, the absence of the loved or hated one will worsen and drives you directionless and make you feel useless in living. It’s really crazy crying over the departed ones when we made their lives miserable when they were alive. But, our lives too (equally) matter. There lies the conflict. Jai Sriram.🚩🇮🇳

The whole time i was watching this, I was wishing she knew about 'tapping', aka EFT. I do 2-3x a day. Many great 3-5 min tapping videos on You Tube'. Release past trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, etc. I wish everyone knew.

OCD makes life tiresome and makes brain drained. It consumes a lot of valuable energy and time. It also steals motivation of doing other works. literally!! OCD also related to anxiety. They are like brothers.
