Partnering for Vaccine Equity

Показать описание
Immunization through vaccination is a critical component of public health efforts because it helps prevent the spread and lessen the impact of infectious diseases, such as COVID-19 and influenza. The benefits of vaccination, however, are not spread evenly across the country, with disparities in vaccine access and confidence across communities—especially among different racial and ethnic populations. Vaccine inequities have significant and far-reaching implications for public health, economic growth, community resilience, and social outcomes. To address these inequities, the Partnering for Vaccine Equity (P4VE) program launched in 2021 with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. P4VE was created as an investment in vaccine equity and an opportunity to work with communities to build knowledge about and evidence on effectively increasing vaccine coverage for both the current moment and future vaccination efforts.
