I mean if you had a choice and the money to do so become your own Legatus with your own personal Legion that's not tied to Rome or maybe help them out like an Auxiliary Unit. Now that's not an option a regular Roman Legatus, Tribuni, Camp Prefect & take a Centurion only because the quality of life is better. I wouldn't mind putting in the work to achieve that position also.

Well because of my gender i could not have been a centurion. That time ladies were nothing more than birthing machines. Sure if you were a noble u might of had few more rights then some one who was a "low born" but other that it was your father or your husband who decided what you can and can not do. In some countries this is the case today so not much has changed in regards to that. 🙉🙊🙈
