Rescue past a deviation, IRATA Level 2

One way of rescuing past a deviation in rope access.
We Train all IRATA levels every week in our 15 meter high indoor training centre in Sheffield. 5 minutes from the train station, and 1 hour by train from Manchester Airport.

My favorite parts of this video, aside from the overall excellence of the demo, are the  momentary pauses during the transfer, ever so brief, while you eyeball your rig and make certain what you're doing. Well done, mate. You show the technical aspects properly, and also the care one must take when they've got extra kit and another life on the lines.

Way more technical than a pole top rescue. Literally three half hitches and a few friction wraps through a snatch block biner and let the ol boy go!

Just a question, wouldn’t I be able to use two grillon’s to pass a double deviation? First company where we are actually allowed to use them on the job

I have just one thing that I noticed... Maybe when you are transferring the weight into the other ID you could get rig of the first ID before taking the backup ASAP to make sure you dont pass by that moment with the big slack that you have to feed throught the second ASAP

please explane how to to make insorense on vertical movement. example, i need too moove on a horisontal beams, this a possibility of changing beams...
