--> (As an American) I was kind of hoping that Timo Weah could have come back with Rodgers. Weah is sooo good. But, it looks like he's going to Juve (for £10 million).
--> I'm excited to see the tweaks that Rodgers will bring to the side. It's encouraging that he doesn't think he's got to "rebuild". I think that he'll actually be able to help players step up their game. Ange was great, but sometimes a new manager can squeeze out extra talent because of a new perspective.

Brilliant Paul. The bottom line for us all should be we get better. The past is gone, let it go and see this appointment as the best option. We saw the delight at Ange leaving, disappear like a fart in a gale as Rogers was appointed.

Power into the team, brilliant. No return to the dithering cheapskate recruitment Lawell made his own. Recruiting a level up to be more competitive in Europe. We played some great football last CL but missed more chances than I can remember. That will improve.

All that matters is we keep our heel on our pals throat. We do better in Europe, a third place CL finish would have me in A&E after my backflip. Anything better than that an I’m passing oot.

I was gutted when Ange left, as we all were, but we have a guy that fills me with confidence and fills our enemies with dread. I like that. I like that very much.
