Is the yield curve inversion party due to the lending facilities given to banks? Instead of the Banks selling their 10 and 30 year bonds at a loss to meet capital requirements, are they just rolling over into new loans and holding out? I wonder if yields would normalize without those sweetheart deals. Honestly asking.
