Thanks for the great video. Can you please suggest what can be done when Cordyline stem is drying out in the middle? The stem looks brown in color and no new leaves are growing. The middle of the stem is soft when pressing. Should I cut the top part and replant? Appreciate your help.

This plant was called a Hawaiian Ti where I bought it. I didn't know it was also called Cordyline until I started looking for info on how to propagate it. It's a pretty big plant with several stalks but I can't wait to make more. Thanks for the info!

Very informative and detailed instructions. I have a lot in my yard and want to start a new plant to move to a planter on the deck. This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I am disappointed that they take that long to grow to a mature plant, but it is worth the wait!
