This video marks many firsts for me. Like using a online drawing app for the first time. Or making fully fleshed ecosystems to show to the public. And this video would have come out sooner if CapCut worked better but that might just be my phone.

This was a great spec evo video and the whole McDonalds cup ecosystem and extinction event was a great spin on the genre, even if it was a little unrealistic, it had a lot of charm and clearly a lot of work has been put into this

I regret not seeing this sooner. This is incredibly high effort even if some aspects don’t quite add up with real world physics. Reminds me of my “MicroTerrax” project that I made 3 years ago. 5/5 stars on this one.

Now I’m imagining how life might evolve in the back rooms from hay bacillus and other bacteria and life forms brought in by humans who no-clipped into the back rooms. And no, none of the supernatural entities exist in the back rooms for this scenario, just the bacteria and other life forms brought in by human bodies. Like, I’m imagining how they might evolve to live in and change each liminal space they’re in.

I always wanted to make a speculative evolution project about the evolution of aquatic life inside a jar, starting from blastula-like ancestors.

Your illustrations have given me a tremendous amount of doodling inspiration. I was also struck by Maximus Foli having two stems but a single leaf. Micro plants are opening a whole new world to me. Great Stuff. Keep it up!
