There’s a menace over Derry
Every twenty-seven years
A lurking evil in the shadows
And it is feeding on your fears
From the sewers it comes crawling
Fangs and claws sharp and bright
Red balloons are sent out sprawling
Floating through the dark of night

Behind the clown there lies a horror
Too cruel to even comprehend
All children‘s nightmares and their sorrows
Which only they can understand
Turn from the realm of imagination
To fatal truth and their demise
The creature dines on its creation
Tears, sweat and flesh for Pennywise

From cold spheres out of space IT fell
Onto the earth aeons ago
With malice far too great to tell
IT dwells as mankind‘s mortal foe
