Over 700 people killed in Myanmar since military coup, core industries heavily impacted

Myanmar's security forces have killed 7-hundred-38 civilians since the start of the Februarty 1st coup.
That's according to the local non-profit organization... Assistance Association for Political Prisoners, which monitors casualties and arrests.
The military takeover adversely impacted the country's key industries.
A labor rights activist says around 200-thousand jobs in the local textiles industry have been wiped out since the Junta seized power.
Several fashion retailers including H&M and Next have put a halt on new orders amid tightened EU sanctions.
As a result, around half of the country's textiles factories stopped operating.
