I really enjoyed your insightful take on this book. I just finished it last night and had a lot of thoughts. I'm confident that the more I ponder over this story, the more I will appreciate it. It's interesting how a person could glean one message out of the story while someone else can take away something very different from the same story. Well done, Mr. Tremblay!

I just finished reading the book. I felt like I was more entertained with the script of the movie than the other half of the book. Like if that script was its own short story I would have enjoyed it, but tbh I think I just don’t like unreliable narrators in horror books.
