Every once in a while you add some nature scene that makes my heart explode. Most of my family is from Ohio and seeing them fishing in that little pond near that old shed at evening with the bare minimum of fishing supplies reminds me so much of my childhood. I could practically hear my dad giving me pointers.

I really admire how well you know yourself as an artist - like if you leave a painting you won’t finish it, you need diversity in materials for your sketchbook, you hate teal lol - it’s inspiring to think of a time in the future when I’ll be able to think/know/understand my practice that well 🫂

i’m feeling good today. it’s my second day in a row off work. first day is probably a 40% with a lot of time spent just recharging. It was only 61 outside yesterday and in the 40s by evening. had to put on a sweater and warm slippers. Today i’m feeling about 70%. It’s sunny and warm 67 already with a high of 77. I have plans to sit outside in the sunshine this afternoon and do some drawing. nothing special just playing with color while my dog Olive barks at the birds. my phone is at 78% and charging. Love your vlogs! i’ve just found you recently on youtube and really enjoy your art! it’s beautiful ❤️

re your dislike of the teal sketchbook: paint it! I add a layer of gesso and then either use Neocolor II or acrylic paint to paint my own covers and it makes them so fun and personal

1:50 i have a similar plant and it's also huge. remember to gently move any creeping aerial roots to its pot of soil and don't let them touch the flooring! if it does, it can "stick" to the floor 😬 happened to me...

You can put some wooden skewers in the big plant and twist tie/ string it to secure it. Makes the growth more manageable!

Today is an amazing day for me, got to hang out at a cafe before I start work at my local bakery. I feel around a 80 to 90 percent today. Things are going well for me. And my phone percentage is 68!
