People talk about drummers who play for the song. Ringo Starr, Nick Mason, John Bonham. But Neal Smith is one of those underrated drummers that never over played and played the perfect part. Creative and perfect. One of my top 5 drummers.

I love this album. It's one of those under rated classics. Every single song is strong.

One of the strongest rock albums of all time. When it released, i was just 15 years old.
This masterpiece shaped my youth and my life and I enjoy listening to it today, as much as I did when it came out in 1971. Love the straight rocker "Under my wheels" and the awesome "Halo of flies". As I said: a masterpiece! Not to forget all the talented musicians on this great album. - Highlight of the 70s !!!

I love Alice, always have. Saw him at Cobo Hall in Detroit twice. Then he played at the Michigan State Fair, my old man and I took the kids. My daughter was 3 when she saw him and still listens to him now, she's 29 . I have turned on to my music and they have shared their kind of music with me. I still believe mine is way better!!!!

This album was my very 1st intro to Alice just because the cover intrigued my 15 year old mind...now 50+ years and a truckload of albums later and he still intrigues a 67 year old mind

Halo of Flies...the bridges, the breaks in this song, as well as THE voice of Alice Cooper are perfect. A genuine masterpiece of sound, sight in the mind.

I have to laugh because I brought Killer and Love it to Death to school back in the early seventies to music class and the principal..the nurse and the music teacher sat me down in the office and sincerely wanted to know if I was alright . When they found out my father was a Minister ( too ) they didn't know WHAT to do . Nobody got their humor back then ...it was genius . PK

Learned the bass to this entire album at 16 years old in high school. Thanks for putting this up, my vinyl version(FROM HIGH SCHOOL) is still here but quite worn. DD on bass kills it!

Yes, Alice Cooper's best album, (in my opinion) heard this today for the first time since 1971 or maybe 1972, I was taken back to being 17 years old, if only I could back to those times, It was so much simpler then.

To those who rocked to AC back then, we were so blessed to witness the spectacle.

I found this album in a milk crate with a bunch of other records that my neighbors older brother owned. It was 1972 and things just totally changed for me at that moment. The cover alone had neighborhood parents running and screaming. Not mine. My Mom bought me my very own copy of this Masterpiece in Two Guys that Summer and also got me “Schools Out.” Nothing was the same after that. love you Mom. Thanks for being so cool and understanding.

This album was a fucking masterpiece musical collection. "I came into this life, looked all around, I saw just what I liked and took what I found. Nothing came easy, nothing came free." Sounds like the story of my life. Alice Cooper fucking rocks - then and now.
