buy one you wont regret it..i gave up my 1000cc + bikes after 32 yrs and ordered a 2021 granite black in march, i got it on the 10th june and just love it!! it is a quality bike tbh, there was no adventure pack available when when i ordered mine so i added and fitted on pick up, black aluminium panniers, Givi crash bars (same price as royal enfield but more robust), oxford heated grips and hand guards, total OTR price inc fitting of accessories about £5300..a bargain for the same price as a second hand standard 'mainstream' brand bike :D
you just seem to ride about 55/60mph and chill out with a smile on your face, the more miles you put on them, the more they get under your skin and become like a soul mate..for the first time in my biking life i have found a bike that has truly taken my heart and i will never part with it, as sad as it seems lmao :D

Best review of the Himalayan yet.
I agree with your reasoning totally.
My Goldwing serves me well for long distance touring, for power and performance and for enjoyment but ... I wanted the fun of tracks, narrow lanes and local streets so I bought the 2021 Himalayan and I'm smiling constantly. What a great bike.
People say I might as well have bought a car instead of the Goldwing. They say I should have bought one of a list of quicker or somehow better bikes than the Himalayan. So sad they just don't understand!!
You should follow your heart and get the Himalayan soon!!
Be safe.

I'm considering getting back into motorcycling and I keep coming back to the Himalayan. All the feedback has only encouraged me in this direction.

Greetings from Brazil. Great video. Thinking to buy a Himalayan. After watching this video think this is the right bike for me.

The Himalayan seems like a fantastic budget conscious bike. Every time I see someone talk about them so highly it makes me want to run out and buy one too 👍

One of the lads at work has just bought one complete with the panniers. First time I've seen one up close, they've really upped the quality. Cracking little machine

'I'm not going to fill your head with numbers & figures' translates to 'I don't know the numbers & figures'

This is probably a future bike for me too. It does what is says on the tin & doesn't claim to be anything its not.

You captured that well. I get exactly what you mean when you say that your thinking alot when on the VTR because of the speed and sound etc, it's nice to get on a bike which has no dramas about it. Plain old school biking. I heard the seat was uncomfortable but as you say maybe that's changed since 2021 model has come out.
If im up that way I'll check out moto corsa, it looks a good place. Bravo📹👍

Nice review and glad you had a good ride. Just put 1000 miles on mine and it is good fun. It's not a speed machine and seems happiest between 55 and 65mph on A and B roads which reflects where I'm happiest. Fuel economy is amazing and on my commute which I do most riding it's making just as good progress as any other 2 wheeler. Hope to meet up with you and Saddlebags one day 👍

Great video! Really interesting for me. It looks like they’ve altered the screen. That is one of my biggest gripes with mine. Then there is the seat. Perhaps they’ve changed that too. Just got back from a 170 mile ride, and my butt is in agony. That’s with the touring seat and a cool mesh cover. You’re so right about the power side of things. It ain’t quick, but it ain’t meant to be. It’s a go anywhere bike and comes into its own when you throw some mud and gravel at it. Cracking review my man. Oh, and thanks for the mention 🙏🏼😊👍🏼

The Handlebar support bar protects the Handlebar during a crash. It protects the Handlebar from deformation.

You've summed the Himalaya up sooo well, it's going to blast along at over the so often 40 limit and the more these days decreasing limits.. will need holding back ; < ))))
I've just got the first 300 running in service done.. so 80kph tops now until 1200mls.. speeds not everything, been there done it in the past.. Himalaya's pace is spot on, get you down the road.. so many miss its point.. call it slow, not enough horses, but the torque is where it's in its elements.. I'm sure once fully run in.. It's going to be more than fast enough to get me into or out of trouble. Should you buy.. the grin factor wins.

Great review, definitely better than mine!! Riding footage, better sound, more professional video....
Aren't they fun though? No rush to get anywhere, no stress, no dramas, love it.
Grumps.

Still can't believe the price of these things and it's a really nice looking bike.. That wee Dutch Girl has put it through its paces and I think you would be onto a winner there. 👍

On the brakes, I'd like to add this. They are not sport bike brakes but if you're in the rough you can grab a mittful and you'll be fine. I was really impress this summer when I went on some pretty advance off road terrain and the abs did better than I could have done myself. Yes you can turn off the rear abs, but in my experience, I'm better off with it on.

Dude this was very solid review of the RE! Not enough people around here have them to warrant a dealer close by but I want to try one out some day. Also I probably watched the cowboy bit 3 times hahaha

😅😂 I have no control over myself when a twisty stretch of road appears in front of me! Get the Himalayan!! So much fun to be had, especially if you get off pavement. My VStrom is a blast in the twistys, as well as off pavement...Be well, Patrick

Good and honest review of a bike that is made for a relaxed ride but can be used for touring and if you like some light of Road Riding.
