great review, very detailed. decided to get this laptop on sale for 3009 PLN (around 922SGD) with an extended 3-year warranty and free bonus Huawei items (backpack, ultrathin keyboard and a wireless mouse). that's cool that you reviewed the i5 version because all other revievs are about i7 unit which I don't need because my PC is powerful enough and I just need a decent laptop for university and fun outside the home

Been using it for a year and didn't have the slightest problem ever except for the battery power and storage space though. If only it can be upgraded then it'd be okay for me to use in college.

1 question : does this i5 processor version have 1 or 2 cooling fans? This affects the noise, because the old D16 with AMD Ryzen 5 4600 processor had 2 fans and was very silent, while D16 2022 with i7 had only 1 fan and was remarkably louder than the old D16 AMD,
what about this D16 i5 version ? 1 or 2 fans ?

Here I thought they corrected the mistakes of the matebook 16 as the d16 has a matte screen, but the battery life is a deal breaker
