NKR has to be replaced by Prasidh. Former's bowling is cannon fodder. NKR has not exactly set the world on fire with his batting either, he has done OK but yet to score even a half century. He ramped a short ball from Cummins to third man when he had just been placed for exactly that shot. That shows his alertness as a batter is questionable.

I feel sorry for McSweeney but i think he might well be in the middle order somewhere @ Sydney as it feels like Kahawaja, Labuschagne & Marsh are all in need of a score and why not shuffle the existing players instead of asking a newbie to open? If Smith does not fancy it, why could Marsh or Marnus not open if Khawaja is the one for the drop? I'll watch the first session and maybe the second if India are bowling and taking wickets but it feels like this first day, before the temperature drops to below 30 degrees for the remainder of the test, is going to be crucial - whoever is batting has an opportunity to really drain the fielding side - i'd like to see lots of easy 2's to make the fielders run and with both teams likely to only field one spinner, there should be some runs in the afternoon when the likes of Bumrah or Cummins & Starc are being saved for the cooler eve session and the new ball.
