I never realized before how often we use phrasal verbs in English; How we prefer them, actually, over standalone verbs. (I’m not sure what to call single-word verbs in comparison to phrasals, but my American ear tells me “standalone” will do, so that’s nothing official, just me.) Anyway, these ones are great, Tom. I know a lot of folks in Vegas who are learning English. And although it’s American English, your videos are still time and again most useful. You’re truly helping in more ways than you may know! Both in teaching non-English speakers learn English, as well as in helping native speakers slow down and pay closer attention to our everyday speech, so as to be better teachers ourselves. Cheers, mate! -Phill, Las Vegas

Hello Tom!
Indeed, I love your Accent!💖💖 I am from United States but I speak by British Accent (100% Cockney accent) as I love this accent. Its true that, British accent is the Top accent (number 1) to all over the world. I have seen some American who want to speak by British accent.
Amazing!!
I love you so much Brother 💖💖

Useful and fun as usual!
When I was pregnant I struggled to get my feet into my shoes and I always ended up putting my slippers on! If I am not mistaken we can use "worn out" as an adjective meaning very tired can't we?
Please come up with new videos Tom!

Very useful, thanks. What about a video in which you list all the pieces of clothing (e.g. hoodie, belt etc)?

I would like to try on that t-shirt to see if it fits and suits me.
I worn out my bag, it's time to buy new one.
Before come in take off your shoes.
When you do up your all bottoms you look more serious and smart.
Roll up your sleeve and get busy.
Put on your yellow dress. It suits you.
I need to wear my lucky shoes before the exam.
Undo your bottoms carefully.
Don't zip up and zip down that. That drives me crazy.
I can't get into my favourite
Thank you for this an awesome lessons!
😊👏🍀🙌👌💗

Great lesson as usual Tom, now the next one must be the "braces versus suspenders" saga, though not necessarily displayed in person if you don't feel like it :) Keep up the great work!

I'm going to England next month and I can't get into any of my jumpers and I've worn out my coats. So, I need to undo my trench coat, take off my uniform, put some trousers on, then do up my jacket and roll up my sleeves to go shopping!... Then, try the entire shopping centre on and get everything I need to wrap up for the cold weather and properly dress up for my trip! 😉
