Brighter Day - Hooson Maguire

The debut single from UK blues, rock, soul band HOOSON MAGUIRE is an uplifting, ‘feel good’ song aimed to bring you a brighter day

Recorded in lockdown 2020, each part was recorded separately at home, then sent to the legendary John Verity for mixing, mastering and producing.

Hooson Maguire have been touring the UK, Europe and the USA for many years as The Paddy Maguire Band and have been heavily involved in the UK blues festival circuit.

They re-launched as HOOSON MAGUIRE in January 2020 with the aim of touring as much as possible that year. Since that all came to a halt, they decided to do something they had not done in the 16 years of being together... Record their music!

Hooson Maguire is a powerhouse four piece outfit hailing from across Yorkshire.
Fronted by the electric voice of Jenna Hooson Maguire with Paddy Maguire on radical six string duties. Jamie Mallender (bass) & Tim Gillespie (drums) complete this powerful band, delivering their blend of blues, soul, rock and all in between.
Hooson Maguire's eclectic twist of modern based blues varies from the tender and sweet to the out and out dirty.
Expect originals, covers, interpretations and the odd jam (depending on who Paddy spots in the audience).
Hooson Maguire has had the pleasure to play stages across the UK, Europe and the US. Their inclusive, ever changing shows keep audiences coming back again and again.

The "lock down special” release includes a link to some "bootleg" tracks recorded by Jenna and Paddy at "Casa de La Maguire’s" along some little extras to thank you for your support.
