AMD, I am awaiting your new Ryzen 3000 16c 32t consumer cpu :). I will continue to use my Ryzen 7 1800X and build a completely new Ryzen 3000 rig just to have that Shintel beating cpu and enjoy its better IPC and multi-core performance for years to come ;).

They have a chance to succeed on their merit this time, the advances in social knowledge of business shenanigans (you tube for e.g.) hopefully mean companies cant get away with those stunts any more.
Epyc and the ryzen/Tr ecosystem is scaleable, affordable, its the only logical way forward.
The 7nm parts likely will be even more so.I'm running a 2014 pc, holding out for an 8 core ryzen 3000. Intel had there chance and they relaxed and counted the cash for 5 years. tuff cheese.
