Guys I was told at Gamestop that Wii and Wii U are the same game is this true as Im looking for the Wii U version but still no release date.

The original was called Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Also, Spyro, Dark Spyro and Cynder are playable. (And Sparx is a support character.) Though you need the appropriate toys to play as them. (Plus the Sparx toy for his support.)

that mini game seems to be the exact same as the card game in FF9

The Skylanders series doesn't even focus on Spyro!? All Activi$ion did was slap his name on one game and made profit. Now they toased him aside for the rest of the Skylanders. That's why they brought out his franchise? That's sad... so many creative characters like Sparx, Moneybags, and the others wasted. I haven't felt this mad since what happened to Megaman.

@photonblaze Yes you need a tv. A developer working on Sonic Racing Transformed that Wii U will have better if not same graphics as ps3 and Xbox 360

there are both wii and wii u versions, separate games. you can tell it is a real wii u game by the stuff on the gamepad. on a wii game all that gamepad stuff would not be there.
