Hey guys I recently did this in the v2 60v
There are some significant issues.
Mine is are very different than the one in the video.
Since I have completed the repair I have had subsequently had an issue with sport mode randomly kicking on and off.
I traced it down to a chafed wire. I wrapped it in tape and fixed the issue.
You should do a video with the newest version of the scooter to address this issue.

It certainly amazes me though how these scooters have everything just jammed into the deck...what a mess. I hope that in future models more effort will be put into organizing the deck with all of its components and wiring, including a hard case on the battery with a handle and securing down the controller and battery instead of just jamming it in there.

My charge harness came out of the hole and the red wire shorted out against the frame. The scooter will not turn on anymore and I'm wondering if there's a fuse internally that protects the system or the BMS needs to be reset? Did I just ruin my scooter I hope not

My charger port just sparked on me and burned slightly...is this a common issue?

Good to know. But why would I have to replace the charging port? Not durable enough?

The charging port should not be on the side you will be replacing that charging port if you ever drop your scooter or wipe out. It should be underneath or in the back or somewhere that it won't get damaged if you scrape up on a curb! Apollo, make that adjustment for your next iteration.

You should update your video it's almost 2 years it's not the same as the video NY scooter it's apollo phantom v2 and it's different from the video lame
