This is after Indian Government promised that they will be taking active steps to ease tax laws and remove uncertainty for startups.

Please correct. This is not the reason for 'ghar wapsi' rather the newly amended Overseas Investment Rules are which restrict Indian shareholders to hold controlling shares abroad in a foreign company which has a subsidiary here in India. 😅

Remember silicon valley bank collapsed in us few months ago, most Indian invest lost billions and this would have been devestating for india had Indian govt termed crypto as illegal and heavy tax on its returns.This is one of step in us de-dollarization.
