I was hoping the 13 would reduce in price but at this rate the older phones will hold their price.

Kinda feels like YouTubers are speaking higher price into reality 😮

Apple "Greed is good. Greed works" at it again. Phones are WAY too expensive as is, but as long as people keep buying them, companies will find excuses to earn even more. That's the nature of the beast...and the stupidity.

Sometimes i feel that tech companies intentionally leak these things... These tech reviewers keep harping on the same thing for months until we actually start accepting it. Be it removal of features, charger, increase in price etc. I feel the public outcry would be much worse if these leaks weren't a thing...

A price hike that increases the user experience is one thing. Bumping up the price because you want use a premium metal in your design is quite another. Titanium is not a user benefit feature.

Apple is aiming for $2000 flagship slab phone and $3500 foldable. There is a reason Vision Pro is priced at $3500, it's to get people accustomed to paying $3500 for consumer product

Relieved I went for a Samsung S23 this year, in the UK. Next year is looking bleak for Samsung users

The fact that a regular slab of phone is costing as much as a foldable is absurd. Android never looked this good

The price was my deciding factor for not buying the pixel fold! I simply can’t justify spending 2k on a phone which will be obsolete in one year…

I ended up downgrading to an iPhone 13 mini and planning to stay here phone a while…

Nowadays all we get are software features mask as improvements on basically last year’s phone, case in point the “new” galaxy fold.

Didn't need the titanium frame for another price hike.... Pixel phones this year will be more popular

Fair? LOL. Sure, Apple give AF. Better question is how far will people tolerate Apple's increases. Upgrading is up to my carriers, if they offer some type of discounts, eg; credits. Last upgrade was last year, iPhone 13 mini. I love my Xiaomi 12t so much it's not the end of the world if I don't have the latest from Apple.

Nooo.. I hate Exynos.. since my county get Exynos, lucky me I upgrade my S21 Ultra to S23 Ultra this year as Pocket Now's advise... Thank you..

The existence of a flagship Exynos chip is ok. Competition is good. What is not okay is you have a single model with 2 difference chips. Why not just put the Exynos in the FE series and reserve the Snapdragons in the actual flagships? The price to performance would make more sense as well.

If you already have an iPhone 12 13 and 14 do you really need a 15

I think the iPhone 15 Pros start at 256 GB instead of 128 GB, which basically you pretend you're choosing a +100$ option for an extra 128 GB

which is how it has a higher starting price

In my country iPhone price already higher than in the US since we have no Apple Store in here (only Apple distributor). I bought 14 ProMax 256gb for USD 1580 (which is way way more expensive than the Galaxy 23 Ultra). I can’t imagine the 15 ProMax 😅

Every year cellphones are more and more expensive.. Companies simply don't care because us, the customers, continue to buy them anyway! I remember when I bought my S7 Edge (that I still use) at price of 860 euro and it was the most expensive model back then. I understand the new tech but damn.. buying a new cellphone became a privilege nowadays...

Prices are too expensive, but honestly even at half the price they aren’t bringing enough to the table to justify the hassle of just going through the process of changing. Just transferring all the crap from one phone to another takes hours than logging into all my password stuff, is a hassle. And for speed I don’t notice, camera quality I don’t notice, and also the hassle of selling my phone at a loss so it’s not even a proper swap.

It’s honestly easiest to just hold onto one’s phone.

Saying that, I’m happy to pay an upmarket price for an iPhone mini with pro level cameras 😂. I get it it’s a niche so they have to charge for making less of them. But the people who buy the iPhone mini REALLY love the iPhone mini.

Honestly I just wish I could get a new iPhone without MagSafe. Hate how heavy it makes the phone.
