INSULATING WALLS - Renault Master Van Conversion DIY #10

Insulation (especially walls) in a van is a polarizing topic. There is as many ways to do it as people doing it. We ended up using hard PIR insulation which we custom cut and fitted into every possible place in our walls. We also filled the spaces in between the PIR pieces with spray foam which also helped to secure insulation and hold it in place. It also reduced squeaking pretty well!

Did you know that we originally bought rockwool and wanted to do soft insulation? It just didn't feel right... after a lot of research we ended up returning it and doing what we shown in the video. We're so glad we didn't go with rockwool!
