To be fair to Witten, he was still pretty damn reliable as an old man. He gave it one last ride nobody expected him to be very good but he was still above average at the position.

On the Brett favre one You should've mentioned how the Vikings had a chance to go to the super bowl but he threw a terrible pick against the saints that I almost think was on purpose and lost them the game then the saints went on to super bowl

One thing u can give Brett is that he was over 40 coming out of retirement for the second time and had one of his best seasons of his career and until Tom Brady easily the best old qb season of all time and led a team that was nothing to an nfc championship game. I agree that he could have done without 2007 and 2010 but in 2009 he caught lighting in a bottle and is honestly one of the most impressive things ever done in football all things considering

I don't think witten was so bad granted I'm a cowboys fan but while he could catch what made him valuable was the fact that slow witten could always find a soft spot and the fact that he could block at a high level still.

Lmao, Favre only went to shit with the Jets after tearing up his shoulder in 2008. Before that he was electric and the Jets were one of the top teams in the NFL. And in 09 he had one of the best seasons of his career, not just a “good season” a near Super Bowl run. I’ll give ya 2010 though. Also it is Cris Carter not Chris Carter.
