Purchase "Come, Come, Ye Saints" from the album "100 Years: Celebrating A Century of Recording Excellence":

Lyrics:
Come, come ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear;
But with joy wend your way.
Though hard to you this journey may appear,
Grace shall be as your day.
’Tis better far for us to strive
Our useless cares from us to drive;
Do this, and joy your hearts will swell:
All is well! All is well!

Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard?
’Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward
If we now shun the fight?
Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.
Our God will never us forsake;
And soon we’ll have this tale to tell:
All is well! All is well!

We’ll find the place which God for us prepared,
Far away in the West,
Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid.
There the Saints will be blessed.
We’ll make the air with music ring,
Shout praises to our God and King;
Above the rest these words we’ll tell:
All is well! All is well!

And should we die before our journey’s through;
Happy day! All is well!
We then are free from toil and sorrow, too;
With the just we shall dwell!
But if our lives are spared again
To see the Saints their rest obtain,
Oh, how we’ll make this chorus swell:
All is well! All is well!

Happy Day! All is well! All is well!

I am a former Baptist minister. I was preaching a sermon and said, there is no other scripture than the Holy Bible an others claiming scripture such as the Book of Mormon. A strong voice in my mind said "How do you know that is true." I recognized it as the Holy Spirit, so that began my quest. I made contacts and started reading the Book of Mormon. I met with the missionaries and took the discussions. My dad is also a former Baptist minister, he too while reading the Book of Mormon gained a testimony that it is true and the Word of God. I am now 82 years old and the organist for my local chapel (we call a ward as this is a world Church). I am now 82 years old, we both joined the Church 50 years ago along with our family and extended families. What a joy to be a part of the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. To know who we are, where we came from, why we are here, why life is short, and where we go when we die. Plus the wonderful things we learn in the Holy Temples of God. THIS CHURCH IS TRUE AND IS JESUS CHRIST'S RESTORED CHURCH. Thank you to all that have sacrificed so much to bring us to this day. I love you all. God Bless You All.

I am honored to be the son of pioneers on all 4 sides of my family. My Great Grandfather Horne was in the first wagon train to leave Nauvoo on that horribly cold morning in Feb 1846. So cold that it was an obvious miracle from Heaven. Why? Because the Mississippi froze so solidly that their wagons crossed on the ice all at once with no expensive, time consuming ferry taking one wagon at a time. Thanks be to God for those amazing pioneers. How can we ever repay them for their sacrifice

I am not of the LDS faith, but I never tire of listening to this hymn and other hymns of Mormon lineage. Keep the beautiful music coming!

I was born into the Church, but fell away between my twenties and sixties. Even during the time I was inactive in the Church, every time I heard this hymn, I'd get a lump in my throat. I'm now 62 and have recently come back to the Church and I gotta say this hymn (and MANY others) bring tears to my eyes, especially when the MoTab does them....

Every 3 years I comment on this song and look back at my old comments. I could never imagine my life would be so much more at peace and in less pain than in those days. I used to walk in constant pain and would be constantly sick all the time. All is Well, when we remain faithful.

I am not a Mormon, but I love their music. I went to hear the Mormon Tabernacel Choir many years ago when they were in Milwaukee. I loved how they did this song. This is a beautiful song of their struggle. A friend of my wife's just passed away. I am watching and listening to this in memory of her.

A call to action. "Why should we think to earn a great reward, if we now shun the fight." Yet another tale of the human (and American) pursuit of spiritual fulfillment and individual freedom.

A very touching hymn! I'm a 2 year convert who discovered a few months before committing to be baptized that my ancestors were Mormon pioneers. Living in a toxic household, I sincerely hope I will be able to go west soon to Utah to be with my cousins who are members of the Church, and who also helped me to discover it. I am utterly grateful to my pioneer ancestors for being the link that relates me to any other members, let alone this lovely couple. And I feel the plight of the pioneers in a sense, going West to somewhere "God prepared" without "being hurt or made afraid" but being afraid of the process of getting there. It took such an emotional and physical toll on all of them. Their sacrifice is so important to us as both an example and a gift!

There are many beautiful choral anthems, but this is as good as they get. As a non-Mormon, I can only begin to imagine what strings it touches in a Mormon heart.

I am not Mormon, but I think G-d for this hymn. My Aunt just passed, and this Hymn, which I have heard since a small child in the 50's, brings such comfort.
