N-Gen Math 8.Unit 8.Lesson 1.The Pythagorean Theorem

In this introductory lesson, students learn the Pythagorean Theorem and use it to find missing sides of right triangles. Emphases are placed on recognizing the difference between solving for lengths of the hypotenuse and lengths of legs as well as rational versus irrational answers.
