4 years ago i made a compilation of Kim Il Sungs speeches through the years. Now i made a Remake with new footage (Some are RARE).

Kim Il Sung (15 April 1912 – 8 July 1994) was a Korean politician and the founder of North Korea. He ruled the country from the country's establishment in 1948 until his death in 1994. Afterwards, he was declared its eternal president. His birth name was Kim Song Ju.

Funny enough it was said that he had to learn Korean as he mostly spoke Russian/Chinese.

Tbh, if Kim il Sung didn't pick his son as his successor, he might've then be seen as a benevolent dictator. He did good for his country on the whole, much better than his son and grandson, but imposing dynastic family rule out of greed is his biggest mistake.
He would be praised even better if he allowed the dissolution of communist North Korea and the unification of the Korean penisula in 1989, following the trend in Eastern Europe at the time. Then he would become a hero because at least he raised his country to decent standards at the time (80s).
