Βιογραφικό:
H ιδιαίτερη σχέση της Λορέντας Ράμου με το σύγχρονο πιανιστικό ρεπερτόριο είναι εμφανής σε όλη της την καλλιτεχνική τη διαδρομή. Τα ρεσιτάλ της χαρακτηρίζονται από πρωτότυπη θεματολογία με εικαστική, λογοτεχνική ή θεατρική διάσταση. Μετά το τέλος των σπουδών της στο Conservatoire de Paris και το City, University of London, παίρνει μέρος σε σεμινάρια με τους Pierre Boulez, David Robertson και Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Μελέτησε με τους Τώνη Γεωργίου, Claude Helffer, Marie-Françoise Bucquet, Denis Pascal και Steve Drury. Το 2017 έγινε διδάκτωρ summa cum laude του Πανεπιστημίου της Σορβόννης και του Conservatoire de Paris, με θέμα το πιανιστικό έργο του Νίκου Σκαλκώτα. Eίναι μεταδιδακτορική ερευνήτρια στο Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών ως υπότροφος του ΙΚΥ.
Έχει εμφανιστεί σε πολλά ευρωπαϊκά φεστιβάλ, τις ΗΠΑ και τη Χιλή, σε αίθουσες όπως η Concertgebouw (Άμστερνταμ), η Tonhalle Düsseldorf, η Cité de la Musique (Παρίσι), το TSAI Performance Center (Βοστώνη), η Στέγη του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση και το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών και Θεσσαλονίκης. Έχει συνεργαστεί με τους συνθέτες Mauricio Kagel, Maurice Ohana, George Crumb και Frederic Rzewski, την εικαστικό και περφόρμερ Λήδα Παπακωνσταντίνου, τους καλλιτέχνες του Fluxus Ben Vautier και Ben Patterson, τον συγγραφέα Pascal Quignard. Το ελληνικό πιανιστικό ρεπερτόριο έχει μια ιδιαίτερη θέση στις συναυλίες, την έρευνα και τη δισκογραφία της, με περισσότερες από 10 ηχογραφήσεις (ECM, NAXOS, BIS…). Εκλέχτηκε πρόσφατα αναπληρώτρια καθηγήτρια στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων. Επιμελείται τα προγράμματα της Στέγης με το Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο ("Μια Γέφυρα Μουσικής πάνω από τη Συγγρού") και με το Ωδείο Αθηνών, όπου διδάσκει επίσης το σεμινάριο «Το πιάνο στον 20ο και 21ο αιώνα». Oι δραστηριότητές της έχουν υποστηριχθεί από την Ακαδημία Αθηνών, το Γαλλικό Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού, το Βρετανικό Συμβούλιο, τα ιδρύματα Fulbright, Gaudeamus, Meyer και Λεβέντη, καθώς και το Κέντρο Ελληνικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Χάρβαρντ.

Pianist, musicologist, concert curator
Lorenda Ramou’s predilection for the contemporary repertoire is reflected by all her artistic choices. Her recitals often combine piano music with the plastic arts, literature and theatre. Following studies at the Paris Conservatoire and London’s City University, she took part in courses run by the Centre Acanthes and the Académie du XXᵉ siècle with Pierre Boulez, David Robertson and Pierre-Laurent Aimard. She has studied under Tonis Georgiou, Claude Helffer, Marie-Françoise Bucquet, Denis Pascal and Steve Drury. In 2017 she gained her doctorate summa cum laude from the Paris Sorbonne University and the Paris Conservatoire, on the subject of Nikos Skalkottas’s piano music. She is actually a post-doctorate researcher at the University of Athens, as a State Scholarships Foundation fellow.
She has appeared at numerous European festivals, the USA and Chile, in venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Düsseldorf Tonhalle, the Cité de la Musique in Paris, the TSAI Performance Center in Boston, the Megaron in Athens and Thessaloniki, and Onassis Stegi. She has collaborated with the composers Mauricio Kagel, Maurice Ohana, George Crumb and Frederic Rzewski, visual artist and performer Leda Papakonstantinou, Fluxus artists Ben Vautier and Ben Patterson, writer Pascal Quignard. Greek piano music occupies a special place in her concerts, research and recordings, with more than 10 CDs (ECM, BIS, NAXOS…). Recently elected as Associate Professor at the University of Ioannina, she also works as project manager and concert curator at Onassis Stegi (“Music connects the Stegi and Panteion University”) and gives the seminar ‘The Piano in the 20th and 21st Centuries’ at the Athens Conservatoire. Her work has received support from the Academy of Athens, the French Ministry of Culture, the British Council, the Fulbright, Gaudeamus, Meyer and Leventis Foundations and from the Center for Hellenic Studies at Harvard University.
