I really like how that mister, that lost his hat in the beginning, is the only one who stays with us not going anywhere. And that he looks directly to the camera, like he knows, that we are watching, and shares this magic moment of time travel. Like some friend, like he is here. It gives some strange, warm feeling

I was fortunate enough to meet a lovely lady back in 2008 who was born in 1903. It’s mind blowing to me that she was just a baby when this was filmed and I would be having a conversation with her 105 yrs later! 🤯

So beautiful how ppl really cared about their appearance and looking put together no matter how poor u had special something aside for church or traveling to look ur best even if it wasnt the best it was ur beat. And things were made with real skill and quality.
