I've had some luck reshaping brushes with soap. I load the brush with soap, work the bristles back into shape and allow it to dry right out overnight or even a few days, then wash the soap out, it doesn't work if the shape is too off but for a slight bend or a few stray bristles, the early stages of splaying, it usually works. Thank you just in time as one brush became very hard. I used warm running water and just worked out the paint. I like your suggestions

Hi Clive. Thank you, as always. Is it the acetone in the remover that's doing the job, as Mine is acetone free (for taking the varnish off false nails without melting them lol) xx

I use Medical Alcohol. It works wonders getting acrylic paint out of brushes and off canvas. It's smell is a lot more tolerable. I pick mine up at a dollar store. Very inexpensive.
