Tektronix 453 off eBay first look

Description: I recently purchased a broken 453 Oscope off eBay to fix my scope that went through a flood. This is just what it looked like after I put it on the table. I was not able to power it up because the cord was cut off. Also since it was in bad shape I don't like to power anything up until I've done a good internal inspection as well. More to follow on this scope as time goes on. I'm not in a hurry so I'll post updates as time goes on and I find time to work on it as I have a lot going on at home now. The 453 is a real work horse. I bought mine when it was new and have kept it up every 5 years or so.

I bought one off eBay too that needed work. My endeavors were successful. I am glad I had a second scope to troubleshoot with.
