I love how practical Kiva's advice is. Nothing outlandish or unaffordable. Some suggestions don't cost anything at all, such as re-orienting rugs, and removing excess pillows. So simple!

I only found out recently why my bedside tables were never right, that it needs to be level with the top of your mattress or within a few centimetres.
So I bought some off marketplace that are completely different to my bed frame but it looks great!

Thank you…as an artist, this concept of eye-level is SO important! I once lost a commission because I recommended the client move another piece they had already hung…absolutely on the height opening and ON the side opening of the bathroom door…because the husband was taller than normal. WTH. Wasn’t sad to lose that one!
