no i agree. i work at a dance studio and everytime we choreograph for a group, the ones who dance stronger have to tone it down to match the rest of the group. dancing in a group should be cohesive, in sync, and should have the same vibe and strength as every other member. ahyeon is a great dancer and an amazing performer but as an idol she should know she has to match the group.

it isnt that shes dancing too good but its that shes putting to much power into her moves. not only is this out of sync with the rest of the group but it'll be much more energy-costing and she'll be exhausted much quicker especially if shes doing a long concert. she needs to keep an energy level consistent through every song and she cant do that if shes wasting all of it in just the first song.

0:52 bro comparing Ahyeon's case with Lisa's is wrong. Lisa is the standard while the rest of BP is below standard in terms of energy/dancing. Ahyeon is too excessive while the rest of BM is at the perfect level. It is true that everyone including Ahyeon herself has an all or nothing mindset. Everything should always be balanced. I usually think the critics are being ridiculous but this time I would have to agree that Ahyeon dancing looked like trying too hard. Even when singing high notes as well, instead of belting she essentially just screams. It's like everything is so extreme that the audience can't help but cringe when seeing her perform. Charisma and stage presence is one thing but overdoing it is another. You don't have to be all big and loud to get noticed, actually remaining cool makes you more magnetic and hypnotizing. Look at Enhypen's NIKI for example. He never goes overboard but people get hooked because you can tell he mastered the craft of dancing, hitting all the beats, being sharp while groovy, etc ALL WHILE MAKING EVERYTHING SEEM EFFORTLESS. This is the key.

I don’t really agree that she’s trying to overshadow the members but instead get famous by doing stuff idols don’t do. First she was screaming her high notes and trying hard for rapping, and then she tried dancing fast to a song where there’s no dance breaks and nobody else was dancing fast. I feel like she isn’t ready for this stage and pushing her as a main vocalist when she can also be a rapper Is a bit bit weird. It would be much better if she was a Lead vocalist.
