I always thought she was one of the old gods sent to Azeroth first but was fatally wounded on entry and was then devoured by the others, only a fragment of her psych remained which was sealed into the blade for future purposes.

I think it would be cooler is she was a fallen void lord. One that was forced to inhabit the blade for some transgression against the other void lords
They could be the one who betrays her and we could finally transition into actually fighting them, since that's something that hasn't happened yet.

I personally can't wait for Mr. Arcanite Reaper to become a villain of an expansion.

Would honestly feel a LOT more personal connection to that axe as a villain. Bought it on all characters that used 2h weapons all the way until wrath, when I got the heirloom version.

Like, back in Vanilla, it was just a really good weapon you could get from AH, then, in TBC, it was a really good levelling weapon for several levels, until finally, it became an heirloom.

If you watch the clip of N'Zoth's final moments. Nefarian uses the exact same dagger to ens him. Which somehow leads us to his blabbing "plans within plans" and his trying to make us "his champion" for this exact battle.

Woohoo more old gods as main villains! I’m so happy we get more slices of the same old pie! I’m so happy that we literally fought Titans and World Souls in Legion so every threat since has to be a world ending catastrophe of cosmic proportions as to not underdeliver on tension! I’m so happy the world that’s been built over 20 years means nothing to me now because what already exists in this world isn’t established and integrated in any meaningful way in the new expansions and campaigns! I’m so happy the only reason and motivation I have to slay the big meanie is to increase the numbers on my gear! I’m so happy!!!

Also she is master at ear-dropping due to she can hide in walls remember how Ansurek fell she was always in the walls of Ahj Kahet to manupilate heir from very beginning to today. Lastly, Her void is much stronger than old gods so possibly she can be void lord, and Iridikon was one of her arms but probably left I don’t have any idea who is the right arm of her

I belive I remember some mention of a war betwen nzoth and yashiraz after they teamed up to defeat another old god, its never mentioned who it was but the war left nzoth more weakened than yashiraz wich is why yash won that second war. Least I remember something like that
