I was at U-Tapao for a few weeks in '72. My buds and I used to rent a boat at the base beach and go snorkeling out at the islands offshore. Beautiful clear water with lots of marine life.

I stayed many times in the late 70s at Nipa Lodge, Its had many name changes since, now Basaya, still has the great buffet breakfast, Thank you for the memories.

Minor point/ suggestion.. instead of using the projector noise, maybe light music would be more pleasing. I enjoy your videos but always have to mute. 😊

Great video. Subscribed. The "projector 📽️" sound spoils it though Imho - like having a diesel generator running. I've turned off the sound. +1

I love all your home movies/videos....you can tell everyone is so kind (Jean, Larry, Sharon, and Jenny) and intelligent...loving family. You are so blessed. I use to have so many old family movies but they were destroyed in 1994 in a fire, which was next door to a recruiting station, I guess somebody didn't like the military 😢
