Loom Free Screen & Video Recording Software

This is a quick recommendation for Loom video and screen recording software. I have been using it for all my new videos and I really love it. It is really simple to use, it makes your content look so professional and all the versions have great features including the free one. At the moment I am using the free trial version but I will definitely be buying the full version when the trial runs out.

You have the option of recording yourself full screen, just recording what is on the screen or recording you and the screen (where you sit in a little bubble which is movable). You can also trim the video in the web app which means you can cut out any mistakes or edit the video yourself. The editing tools are fairly basic and a little fiddly but you do get used to them fairly quickly.

You download a desktop version or use a chrome add on (or a mixture of the two). I have used both and they are really good the desktop one is better if you are using desktop applications but if you are using web based apps or doing demos then the web based one is fine.
