Instead of trying to make it fully clear why don't you do a blue dye clear water bottle color, I have seen many companies use blue dye on the outside plastic of there water bottle

Resin artists add purple to counteract the yellow. Maybe try a smidge of purple food color to color correct?

Use agar agar (the stuff they put in raindrop cakes). Very similar to gelatin and easy to use
