Shit works. Lived in a home with 5 or 6 other dudes when I was younger (we called it the frat house) and we made a rule that whenever you passed a doorway you had to do one strict pull up. Most of us would do 5+ unless we were feeling lazy.
Half a year later everyone could do 10-20 strict in a row🤷🏾‍♂️

I did this with pull-ups when I worked at a warehouse as a young man. There was a pole across two support beams in one part of my rout, and every time I passed it I would do 5 pull-ups. Before I knew it I could do as many pull-ups as I wanted.

💯 I used to do push ups every day, during commercials in between shows. My chest was huge, so were my triceps.

I’ve been doing 100 pushups every other day for only about a week and a half. 50 in the morning and another 50 later on in the day. I went from struggling on 30lb dumbbell bench press to being able to bench 40lb dumbbells without struggling. Yes I know that’s still not a lot, but to me it’s insane progress just off 1 week and a half. I’m aiming to reach 60lb dumbbells before summer 🙏🏼💪🏼

Works 100% i promise im 46 and my body looks like im still 26....i randomly just drop n do 20....25 and get up....n repeat....not planned i just do i forget...i remind myself right before i get n the shower...push ups n dips

Twenty years ago, I would do fifty pushups three days a week.
Last year I couldnt hit ten.
Then I started doing a similar system and now Im almost back up to fifty.
Losing weight also helps.

Recently started adding in pushups again doing 2-300 a day at least3-4 days a week. Wife has been decently impressed with the difference.

When I was growing up in New York City, my Dad would jump up on a light at each corner and do 15 pull ups while we waited for the light to change.

Love it...and he is right. For pull-up or chins, do not try and crank out a couple extra reps. When you START losing your grip and the tension in your back/core...STOP. Trust, you will avoid elbow and rotator cuff issues.

Bro! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID when I was living in the island and started working out. I went from doing one pull up to 6 and then to 8 and then 10 over a period of time. I just kept doing 1-2 every once in a while. I would absolutely fail ALL MY
PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS when I was young. Great advice

These techniques help to increases strength and the number of pull ups reps one can do over time. But this approach is a mere supplement to your standard workout routine. It shouldn’t be the only thing you do. Great for competition preparation

I did this back in high school with the perfect push bars. They were developed by a former navy seal. And my arms and chest got incredibly strong.

I’ve always been a pull up freak…in elementary school I had the record for 74 pull-ups straight. In my 40’s now and I do 5 sets of 25 pull-ups to start off back day.

That works ! I started 5 years ago doing exactly that. Although i was training for a lot more i was really bad at pull ups. So i start making pull ups at home. I put the bars at my room and i made myself to pay a "ticket" every time i endered the room ... Everytime i made 7 pull ups (that's all i could do back Today i can make 30 clean ones in a row !
