Tirrell pond is one of my favorite places in he Adirondocks going back over 40 years. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. Looking forward to either a section or thru-hike of the the NPT in September.

Just FYI, O'Neil Flow Lean-to is on Tirrell Pond, not O'Neil Flow; just an ADK thing. The area on the west side of the bridge to O'Neill LT is where the old LT use to be and that area is closed for camping.

It is too bad you didn’t explore a bit to the east of the Leanto . Terrill Pond has about a 1/4 mile long sand beach that I think is the prettiest in the Adirondacks. You can walk out (in summer) 100 feet or so and not get water above your waist. Trout swim around you. Loons sing. It’s one of my favorite places.
