Seattle Kraken First EVER Real Game & Fan Reaction | Kraken R&R

Seattle Kraken play the Vegas Golden Knights for their first regular season game in franchise history. The Kraken end up falling 4-3 but fight back from down 3-0 early and loose on a (not) kicked in goal by Vegas.

Hung with one of the best teams and made a comeback. Super happy. Team seems like a legit competitor. That kicking goal was irritating. Sure looked obvious kicking. Still happy we got a team and how they played

So if you pelvic thrust the puck into the net does that now count as well? Yeah, this whole kicking the puck into the net is as frustrating as goalie interference. Yes, he didn't do a full kicking motion with the puck in front of his foot and kick it in like he was attempting a field goal but he definitely kicked it and did it intentionally to try and score. It seems like that is the actual intent of the rule, to prevent people from doing exactly that. As for the rest of the game, I am passed that ESPN didn't cut away from the Pens/Lighting game to show us the Vegas pregame show. That was freaking awesome! I loved the way the Kraken fought back after being down 3-0 to tie the game. I love the penalty kill. There were a number of positives to take away from this first game. They didn't embarrass themselves and I definitely look forward to seeing more of them this year.

Better passing and Less turnovers in the defensive but was so much fun to watch and root really loudly lol

Honestly expected about a 5-0 defeat (sorry for being a pessimist!) So this was a fantastic result and showed real promise. Go Kraken go! Love from the UK fan club.

In all seriousness though, great game by the Kraken. They were quite sloppy in the first period but Hakstol rallied the troops and they cleaned it up from there on out. I was kind of underwhelmed by Grubauer, but that's what a great offense can do. Defense was also kind of underwhelming, but again Vegas is a tough draw for your franchise opener. They offense did show up after the first period though, and 3 goals against the Knights is no small feat. I am very excited to see how they'll handle Nashville tomorrow night. These guys remind me of the Mariners, and if there's any validation to that, it should be a very exciting first season in Seattle. Go Kraken!

Could Gruuu clear the early mistakes? Sure but like you said its the first fucking match and some has to improve in my eyes not a big deal.

The kick would came back in german DEL 19 out of 20 times as „NO GOAL“ so the allmighty Vegas needs help from refs? Division Titel here we come :P
