For those who didn't know, this song was about a girl called angel and she was in a rehab shelter the word "snowflake" actually means cocaine and "burnt lungs" means she had been smoking, while angel was at the shelter she always broke the rules and the people running the shelter said if she behaves herself she could make her own rules, but the lyrics "it's too cold outside" means dangerous, and "sells love to another man" means she had been sold to s*x when Ed Sheeran went to the shelter the first thing he saw on the walls were "Angels rule" he wrote this song on the way back from the shelter, one year later Angel died and he wrote another song dedicated to her that's why he says "angels will die" so this song has a bigger meaning than some people let on ❤️

When I was a kid I thought this song was about a boy and a girl in a mental institute who became friends but now the girls getting worse and not responding any more.

Now I know it's about drugs and prostitution and realise what a messed up kid I was. What 8 year old thinks this?
