My dear hometown, Los Angeles, CA. It's been 4 years since I've left for Japan. Every single street in this video I've walked and drove through a million times over. But, after being away for awhile, it's hard to ignore how ugly and small downtown is.

Granted, LA is not really a "city" but rather a collection of suburbs under one name. I wish my hometown can return to what it was from at least 10-15 years ago when it was making a comeback and safe to walk the streets. I will visit my family later this year and it will be a little bittersweet. I know LA can turn it around if it were to ditch the politics and focus on making city life better for everyone. LA is a city of really extreme contrasts. My last visit was in 2019, and everything seems to have got worse. Anyway, loved the video. The only problem I got is your car, is pretty noisy you know 😅

Photography is wonderful. Captions naming particular streets or districts would be useful for those of us who are not Angelinos. Your vehicle makes a whining noise under acceleration which is intrusive.
