I have always had so much respect for our military men and women. Their homecoming always gets me, but this one with the dogs is very special. They don't understand, they just know their person has been gone and they are so happy to see them! I also appreciate your family's respect for our country!

Dogs are amazing. The only species on earth that can communicate so efficiently with us, backed by so much science. After tens of thousands of years of coevolution with humans, they truly have earned the title of man's best friends.

I feel like a rock star everyday I get home. When it’s been that long it takes them to smell you before they remember

I'm a 100% Disabled Vet. I live alone (which is why I love your videos). - My VA DR. suggested I get a dog (or any pet, but preferably a dog) for companionship. ... a friend heard that, and they knew someone moving and wanted to know if they knew anyone who would like a dog (Lab mix) ... I agreed to take it. She was home sick for a few days, but after a while, she adjusted to me and my way of living. My son came home to visit and those two got along great. A few weeks later they called me up and said their grandson was crying every day missing the dog and if I could please return her. I agreed and surrendered her to them, but I feel I am much worse shape now then I was before. She didn't want to leave me, and I didn't want her to go, but I can't be responsible for making a child cry either. So, I love dogs, but I don't want anything now as I might only have to say goodbye again. I'm fine by myself.

I grew up with dogs. But currently I have cats and when I’m gone for more that a day I get greeted by a very vocal cat. They can have bonds to their humans like dogs do.

Our Fur Babies don't care about how rich or poor we are, whether we have a fancy mansion or run down apartment, they don't care about expensive things or cheap things, they love us unconditionally and no matter what circumstances life throws at us, our dogs will be there through the good the bad and happy and sad.

When I returned home after (just) three weeks in the hospital, my beagle literally cried for fifteen minutes straight...and so did I. I think dogs love us more deeply and unconditionally than any person can.

Dogs possess perhaps the most pure form of unconditional love.

We lost out 13 year old Beagle a few months ago. This made me both laugh and cry.

Lost one of our beagles: Jimmie J back in July. It is hard to loose a fur baby. You are a great family. Your caring for us Americans means so much to me especially when it comes to our military and their love ones. Thank you so much.

My last dog will likely be my last dog. She looked so much like your dog, just a tiny bit bigger and darker. She was absolutely the most intelligent, well-behaved, affectionate, and easy-to-train dog I ever had. I don't have room in this comment section for the stories I could tell. I swear she was half human...man, I loved that girl.

When my nephew Billy came home from a 11 month deployment his dog Gunner went nuts. Gunner was so excited to see him.

I was tearing up from the first clip. We don't deserve dogs, they are so loving and accept us for who we are. They are our guardian angels.

I am a proud 100% disabled U.S. Army veteran. I love what you and your lovely family do for us veterans. I always get such an emotional lift out of your videos.
My dog didn't recognize me until she sniffed me. After that I was bruised from all the huggins.
